 WITH ITS DECEMBER SCHEDULE EXPANSION


Airline's new schedule results in a flight departure every 30 seconds
 ATLANTA, Dec. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) has announced a Dec. 15 schedule expansion that will add 58 daily system departures.
 This new winter schedule includes increased service in Florida, Canada, Mexico and the New England area and will include inaugural service to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, increasing Delta's global reach to 215 cities in 33 countries.
 Delta will begin new service from Toronto, Canada, to four Florida destinations: Tampa, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami. Delta will also inaugurate daily nonstop service to Mexico City from its Orlando hub on Dec. 15 and will add roundtrip flights from Orlando International to Daytona Beach, Detroit and Tampa.
 Portland, Maine, and Albany, N.Y., will be linked by daily service to Delta's hub at Cincinnati. In addition, Delta will begin direct service between Milwaukee and its Salt Lake City hub, via Minneapolis.
 "These new services represent excellent market opportunities," said Al Kolakowski, the airline's senior vice president - marketing, "and they are part of the most extensive pattern of service ever offered by Delta."
 Delta greatly expanded its worldwide route network on Nov. 1, adding 21 cities in Europe, India and the Middle East. With the new December schedule expansion, Delta will operate 2,840 daily departures.
 A leader in customer satisfaction, Delta has led the major U.S. airlines for the 17th consecutive year with the lowest rate of customer complaints to the U.S. Department of Transportation.
