 DELL WITHDRAWS CONVERTIBLE SUBORDINATED DEBENTURE OFFER
 AUSTIN, Texas, Dec. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Dell Computer Corporation


(NASDAQ: DELL) announced today that it is withdrawing the previously announced proposed offering of $115,000,000 of convertible subordinated debentures due 2001 because of current conditions in the securities markets. At Nov. 3, 1991, Dell had cash and temporary investment balances aggregating $153.7 million available to meet its funding requirements.
