DELL ANNOUNCES OPENING OF PRODUCTION FACILITY IN MEXICO

 AUSTIN, Texas, May 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Dell Computer Corporation today announced that it will open a production facility in Toluca, Mexico, to support operations at Dell Computer de Mexico and eventually throughout Latin America. The facility is scheduled to begin production in early July.
 The new facility, which will employ about 30 people, will perform final custom configuration for a full range of high performance desktop computers and advanced server systems.
 "Mexico is an outstanding PC market on the verge of significant growth," said Michael Dell, chairman and chief executive officer. "Our new facility in Toluca underscores our continued commitment to Mexico and to providing superior products and services to our customers in the Mexican PC market."
 Since opening one year ago, Dell Computer de Mexico has generated strong sales, posting one of the strongest starts of any Dell international subsidiary. In the fourth quarter of 1992, the subsidiary captured a five percent share of the Mexican PC market.
