DEERE & COMPANY REDEMPTION OF OUTSTANDING DEBENTURES DUE 2002

 MOLINE, Ill., Nov. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Deere & Company (NYSE: DE) today announced that it has elected to redeem on Jan. 4, 1994 all of its outstanding 8 percent Debentures Due 2002. The redemption price will be equal to the principal amount of the Debentures plus interest to the date of redemption and a 1.38 percent premium.
 Payment will be made upon presentation and surrender of the Debentures: if by hand, at Chemical Bank, Room 234-North Building, Corporate Trust Securities Window, 55 Water Street, New York, N.Y., or if by mail, to Chemical Bank, Debt Operations Department, J.A.F. Building, P.O. Box 2862, New York, N.Y. 10116.
