ARMSTRONG (Birtley). Formerly ChesterleStreet. Peacefully in hospital on January 3rd 2013, aged 76 years, Lucy (formerly Weatherley, nee Donnelly), dearly loved mam of Denise, Gavin, Cavell, Michelle and Michaela, a very dear motherinlaw to Mick and Greg, a devoted nana of Shaun, Marc, Alex, Jordan and nana Lucy to Kirsten, Caitlin and Leah also a much loved sister, sisterinlaw and aunt. Friends please meet for service at Birtley Crematorium Chapel on Monday January 14th at 10.30am, prior to interment at Birtley Cemetery at 11.00am. Will be greatly missed.

BROGAN (North Shields). Suddenly at home on 28th December, aged 81 years, Audrey (nee McDonald), beloved wife of Richard, much loved mam of Joyce and motherinlaw to Cliff, devoted nanna of Emma and Sarah and their partners Dean and Paul and loving great nanna of Lauren, Kyle, Dean and LilyElla. Audrey will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Service to be held at Tynemouth Crematorium on Friday 11th January at 12.45pm.

CARR (Seaton Burn). Peacefully in hospital on December 31st after a short illness, aged 86 years, May (nee Clough), beloved wife of Bill, cherished mam of Margaret and a loving grandma and great grandma. HENDERSON (Bedlington Station).

Peacefully on 1st January, aged 60 years, Alan John, a fantastic husband and soul mate of Pam (nee Brennan), a devoted dad of Ross and Lana, a much loved grandad of Christine and Nico, a dear brotherinlaw, uncle and soninlaw of all the family. Service to be held at St. John's Church, Bedlington Station on Monday 14th January at 12.15pm, followed by interment at Bedlington Cemetery at 1.15pm. Friends please meet at church. Peacefully at Hawksbury House, on 2nd January 2013, aged 82 years, Guelda, beloved wife of the late Michael and Alan Mathewson, much loved mam of Carol, Julie and Peter, loving grandma of her 7 grandchildren and a dear sister of Moira. Funeral Service will be held at Saltwell Crematorium on Friday 11th January at 3.00pm to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Peacefully at home on 1st January 2013, aged 60 years, Hilda, beloved wife of the late Thomas, loving mam of Stephen, Christopher, Andrew and Lauren, much loved nana of Anthony, Stacey, Dean, Jasmiem and Choloe, loving sister of Claude, Christine, Leslie, Alan, David and William. Peacefully at Princes Court Nursing Home on 6th January, aged 86 years, Freda a much loved and devoted wife of the late Harry (HP), loving mam of Rosemarie, Freda, Yvonne and the late John and Margaret and a beloved grandma to all her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, also a loved motherinlaw of Geordie and Les. METCALFE (Fenham). Peacefully in hospital on 2nd January, aged 77 years, Bill, beloved husband of Catherine, much loved father of Sean, Valerie and Michael. A loving grandad who will be sadly missed by all the family. R.I.P. A Requiem Mass will be held at English Martyr's Church, Blakelaw, on Tuesday 15th January at 1.00pm, followed by interment at West Road Cemetery.

PENNINGTON (Tynemouth). Peacefully in hospital on 2nd January 2013, aged 91 years, Ronald, beloved husband of the late Margaret, much loved father of Helen, Sylvia and Hilary, adored grandpa of Clare, Jonathan, Sarah, Lil and Nicky, also proud great grandpa of Joel, Carmen, Alex and Ben. PHILIPSON (West Moor). Formerly of Cullercoats. Peacefully in hospital on 6th January, aged 46 years, Kenny, dearly loved son of Ken and the late Sally, much loved brother of Sallyann and brotherinlaw to Ian and a very dear uncle to Fiona. RAMSHAW (Seaton Delaval). Peacefully in the Marie Curie Hospice on 3rd January, aged 70 years, Richard William (Richie), beloved husband of Marion, dearly loved dad of Helen and David and daughterinlaw Lindsey, devoted grandad of Steven and Jo and their partners Anda and Mark, also a much loved brother, brotherinlaw and uncle. A celebration of Richie's life will take place at Cowpen Crematorium on Thursday 10th January at 2.30pm. All welcome to Seaton Terrace Club afterwards. ROBERTS (Winlaton). Tragically at home on 15th December 2012, aged 32 years, John James, know as John the Badge. Cremation at West Road Crematorium, Newcastle on Friday 11th January 2013 at 1.00pm. Our bright shining star has now left us, but she is now in the sky guiding us all to our futures.
