ALEXANDER (Ponteland). Peacefully on 23rd January 2013, aged 94 years, Christina (Chris), dearly loved wife of the late Geoffrey and much loved mum of Trevor and Shirley. A private cremation has taken place.

ARMSTRONG (Cramlington). Formerly of Prestwick Village, Ponteland. Peacefully in Harwood Court on February 9th, aged 92 years, Olive (nee Orkney), beloved wife of the late Joe, devoted mam of Jean, John and Alan and a cherished grandma and great grandma. Olive will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. Friends please meet for service at the West Road Crematorium, Newcastle on Friday February 15th at 11.45am. Peacefully in Meadowpark Residential Home on 10th February, aged 91 years, Lily (nee Bell), dearly beloved wife of the late Tommy Bradley and a much loved mam of Anne and Bill, dear mother-i-law of Michael and Julia and a devoted grandma of Mark, Glenn, Craig, Leigh and Caroline and a loving great grandma of all the children. Service and cremation to be held at Cowpen Crematorium on Friday 15th February at 10.30am. Friends please meet at the crematorium. Afterwards at the Wharton Arms for refreshments. CLARK (Bywell). Peacefully on 6th February 2013, aged 77 years, Godfrey William, much loved father of Peter, Jason and Christopher and grandfather of Amy and Oliver. Peacefully in Marie Curie Hospice on 9th February, Gloria (nee Bell), dearly loved wife of Alan, devoted mam of Nicola and Suzanne and their partners Guy and Phil, much loved grandma of Connor, Mathew, Jessica, Faye and Libby, also dear sister of Alan and of sister-i-law Louise. Friends invited to service at Saltwell Crematorium, on Friday 15th February at 2.30pm. All welcome afterwards for refreshments at the Gibside Arms, Whickham. Family flowers only please but donations in lieu may be given at the service for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

HUMBLE (Longhorsley). Formerly of Seaham. Peacefully on Friday 8th February, aged 92 years, Sarah, much loved mother of Pat and mother-i-law of Charlie. Funeral Service and cremation at Cowpen Crematorium, Blyth on Friday 15th February at 1.30pm. Anyone unable to travel to the crematorium are invited to join the family at The Shoulder of Mutton, Longhorsley from approximately 2.30pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the British Heart Foundation, a collection plate will be available at the crematorium.

LOWE (Spittal). On 7th February in Berwick Care Home, Robert (Bobby), aged 80 years, much loved husband of Nancy, beloved dad of Kenneth and Shirley, father-i-law of Jean and Davie, loving granda of Kimberley, Darren and Eve. Funeral Service in Tweedmouth Parish Church, on Thursday 14th February at 10.00am, followed by interment in Berwick Cemetery. Friends please meet at the church.

ROBINSON (Bellingham). Formerly of Wallsend and Stocksfield. Peacefully at Charlotte Straker House, on 8th February 2013, aged 80 years, Doris (nee Newell), beloved wife of the late Geoff, much loved mother of Simon, Tim, Andrew and Paul, devoted grandmother of Rebecca, Emily, Katie, James and Georgia. She will be deeply missed by all her family and all those who knew and loved her.

Service at St. Cuthbert's Church, Bellingham on Monday 18th February at 12.00noon, followed by cremation at Newcastle West Road Crematorium, at 1.30pm. Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Charlotte Straker Project. Friends please meet at Church.

SPOWART (Ellington). Cresswell Road. Peacefully in hospital after a long illness bravely borne on 6th February, aged 71 years, Alexander (Alec) a most dearly loved husband of Brenda (nee Gibbs), devoted dad of Nicola and son-i-law Richard, loving grandad of Jake and Tom and a very dear son-i-law of Mary. Cortege leaving residence for Funeral Service in St. Bartholomew's Church, Cresswell on Thursday 14th February at 1.30pm, followed by interment in the churchyard. Family flowers only, donations in lieu of flowers to the Oncology Day Unit of the Wansbeck General Hospital, a donation plate will be available at the rear of the church. THOMPSON (Cramlington). Formerly of Kelloe. Peacefully in hospital after a long illness on 8th February, aged 73 years, Colin, much loved husband of Linda, dad of Karen and Paul and dearly loved by the whole family. Friends please meet for Funeral Service at Whitley Bay Crematorium on Thursday 14th February at 3.00pm. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired may be made at the crematorium to Macmillan Nurses. All welcome afterwards to the Hind Public House, Dewley, Cramlington, NE23 6DT.
