BECK (Bedlington). Peacefully at home after a long illness bravely borne with courage and dignity, on 18th December, aged 75 years, Joyce (nee Hume), beloved wife of Dennis, much loved mother of Gemma and her partner Chris, devoted grandma of Anthony, Daniel and Alisha and great grandma of Katelyn. Joyce will be very greatly missed by all her family and friends. A celebration of Joyce's life will be held at Cowpen Crematorium on Friday 21st December at 10.00am. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Macmillan Cancer Support for which a box will be available at the crematorium. BELL (Horsley). Formerly West Woodburn. Peacefully on 16th December 2012, aged 81 years, Henry Thomas (Harry), dearly loved husband of the late Nell, a loving dad, granda, great granda and uncle. Would family and friends please meet for service at Milbourne Church on Monday 24th December at 1.15pm, followed by interment.

BROWN (Wooler). Suddenly on Thursday 13th December, Wiggy, dearly loved husband of the late Rhoda, beloved father of Craig, Martin and daughtersinlaw Justine and Gillian, devoted grandfather of Alex, Caitlin and Hannah. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Private cremation, followed by a Thanksgiving Service in Wooler Parish Church on Saturday 29th December at 2.00pm, to which all friends are invited. Family flowers only.

COLLIER (Wooler). Archibald Cottages. Peacefully in hospital on Wednesday 12th December, Jean Pattison, aged 95 years, dearly loved wife of the late Cecil, devoted mother of David. Service in Wooler United Reformed Church on Friday 28th December at 12.00noon, followed by private cremation.

DENNISON (Hexham). Formerly of Fenwick. In hospital on 15th December 2012, aged 54 years, Clive, beloved son of Iris and the late Eric, dear husband of Brigid, much loved father of Harriet, Alice and Robert. Service of Thanksgiving to be held at Matfen Parish Church on Friday 21st December at 12.00noon. No flowers please, donations if desired to The Gurkha Welfare Trust.

HENDERSON (BerwickuponTweed). (Kathleen) Ann (nee Riley), of 3 Shoresdean. Suddenly on Sunday 16th December 2012, in Wansbeck General Hospital, aged 72 years, beloved wife of the late Geordie and mother of Amanda and Chris, motherinlaw of David, dearest nana of Richard, Christopher and Rachel. Funeral Service at Tweedmouth Cemetery on Friday 21st December at 10.30am. Friends please meet at the cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations to Cancer Research and or British Heart Foundation.

HOGG (Lynemouth). Peacefully in hospital on 16th December, aged 90 years, Ambrose (Andy), husband of the late Edie, father of Michael and Val, grandfather to Susan. Funeral Service to take place at St. Aiden's Church, Lynemouth on Friday 21st December at 10.30am, followed by interment at Woodhorn Cemetery.

O'BRIEN (Blyth). Lost her fight and fell asleep on 16th December, aged 78 years, Phoebe, a much loved mam, grandma, sister, auntie and dear friend to all. Will be sadly missed.
