ANDERSON (ChesterleStreet). Suddenly at home on 17th May, aged 82 years, John, dearly loved husband of Margaret, much loved dad of Paul and Kay, dearest grandad to Chris and Phil. Friends please meet at Birtley Crematorium on Friday 27th May at 10.00am for service and cremation. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the University Hospital North Durham.

BLACKLOCK (North Shields). Peacefully in the Elsdon Unit on 21st May 2011, aged 87 years, Harry, beloved husband of Maud, loving father of Harry, June and Paul, also fatherinlaw to Carol, Terry and Janice, a dear grandad and great grandad. Sadly missed by all. Family and friends please meet for Funeral Service at Tynemouth Crematorium on Wednesday 1st June at 1.30pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Elsdon unit North Tyneside General Hospital for which a donation box will be provided following the service.

BORLEY (Killingworth). Alma Margaret (nee Good), was cremated today at Saltwell Crematorium, aged 81 years, beloved wife of the late Leslie, mother of Keith, motherinlaw of Susan, grandmother of David and Joanne and great grandmother of Ellie and Savannah.

CLARK (Dunston). On 22nd May, aged 63 years, Moira (nee Brownlow), dearly beloved wife of John, dearly loved mam of Paul and Robert, dearly loved motherinlaw of Christine, much loved nana of Maisie Jane, Callum and Connor, a beloved twin sister of Wendy, dear sisterinlaw of Ted. Was much loved by all family and friends. Service and interment at Saltwell Cemetery, on Friday 27th May at 11.30am. Friends please meet at cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Marie Curie Hospice, a donation may be made at the service.

COLLINS (North Shields).

Peacefully in hospital on 20th May 2011, aged 90 years, Evelyn (nee Miller), beloved wife of the late Roger, much loved mam of Roger and Brian, dear motherinlaw of Christine and Eileen and treasured grandma of Paul, Louise, Niall and his wife Nicola. Suddenly at home in his sleep on May 21st, aged 71 years, Bob, a devoted husband of the late Lee and adored dad of Jayne, Helen and Sarah, dearest fatherinlaw and also a proud grandad of Tom, Kieran, Tegan, Daniel, Charlotte, Zach, Luke and Louie. FABER (Monkseaton). Peacefully at Redesdale Court, Elsdon Unit on 19th May, aged 83 years, Jack, a dearly loved husband, father and grandfather.

GRAHAM (Ryton). Peacefully in hospital on May 20th 2011, aged 68 years, Joan Jenny, dearly loved wife of Ray, much loved mother of Steven, John, Alan, Susan and Michael, a loving grandma and a dear sister of Diane. Would friends please meet for service and cremation at Mountsett Crematorium, Dipton on Tuesday May 31st at 2.45pm. Family flowers only please, a retiring collection will be taken on the day for Macmillan Cancer Care. Transport provided from Ryton Club at 2.00pm prompt.

GREY (Wideopen). Formerly of West Moor. Peacefully in St. Oswald's Hospice on Sunday 22nd May 2011, aged 87 years, Andrew (ex employee of Storey Sons and Parker), beloved husband of the late Thelma, much loved dad of Val and the late Richard, fatherinlaw of Gordon, loving grandad of Fiona and Bruce and Andrea and Paul, devoted great grandad of Lily, Thomas, Ava and Lucy. Family and friends please meet for Funeral Service at St. Bartholomew's Church, Benton on Friday 27th May at 1.15pm, followed by cremation at Whitley Bay Crematorium at 2.15pm. JOHNSTON (Walker). Suddenly on 22nd May 2011, aged 44 years, Mark, a beloved partner of Dawn, loving dad of Leanne, Mark and Liam, precious son of Phyllis, and the late Derek, devoted brother of Gaynor, Derek, and the late Dawn, sadly missed brotherinlaw, nephew, cousin and uncle of all his family. KING (Hebburn). William (Billy), on May 20th, aged 83 years, loving husband of the late Norma, dad to Billy and Gary and the late Bryan, loving fatherinlaw to Ann and Anne, adored granda to Laura, Steven, Rachel and Lee. With tears we watched you slipping, we saw you fade away and though our hearts were breaking, we knew you could not stay. LESTER (Cramlington). Peacefully in hospital on May 20th, aged 76 years, Brian, a much loved dad and partner of Marie. Brian will be very sadly missed by all his family and friends. Frances, aged 88 years, after a brief illness, died peacefully in hospital on 19th May 2011, much loved mother of Kathleen, beloved grandmother of Kathleen, Andrew and Elizabeth, great grandmother of Rebecca and Beth and great great grandmother of Felicity. Please meet at St. Luke's Parish Church, Ferryhill on Friday 27th May at 11.45am for service, followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. All welcome afterwards for refreshments at Cleves Cross Grange. Donations in lieu of flowers to Help for Heroes, plate at church.

NEWSTEAD (Windy Nook). Formerly of Dunston. After a long illness, bravely fought with dignity, courage and without complaint Vera, fell asleep at home surrounded by her loving family on 21st May 2011, aged 83 years, Vera (formerly Ternent, nee Downie), dearly beloved and cherished wife of John and devoted mam of Derek, Brian, Jacqueline, Patricia and Janet, a respectful motherinlaw and a treasured grandma and great grandma. Friends please meet for service at Saltwell Crematorium on Tuesday 31st May at 2.30pm. Refreshments afterwards at Eslington Villas Hotel. Sadly missed by all her family and friends. The world has lost a wonderful lady.
