Peacefully after a long illness bravely borne on Saturday 26th March 2011, aged 77 years, Thomas (Tom), dearly loved husband of Jean, loved dad of Julia and Gordon, Tommy and Gwen, proud granda of Andrew and Jonathan, also a dear brother, brotherinlaw and uncle. Would family and friends please meet for Funeral Service at St. John's Church, Whorlton on Tuesday 5th April at 12.00noon, prior to interment at Lemington Cemetery at 1.00pm. BRYSON (Bensham). Peacefully at Tyne View Nursing Home on Wednesday 30th March, aged 82 years, Evan (M.B.E.), a much loved brother of Alan and the late Stan, Jack, Raymond and Robbie, a dearly loved uncle of Jacqueline, Stan and Peter, also a great uncle and exceptional friend and mentor to many, especially those of Redheugh Boys Club. Would friends please meet for service at Saltwell Crematorium Chapel on Friday 8th April at 3.00pm. BURINI (Fenham). Peacefully at home on 30th March, aged 89 years, Eric Basil (Lt.

Col. of Durham Light Infantry Retired, also former teacher of St. Aloysius School), beloved husband of Pauline, loved dad of Michael, Anne, Cath, Vincent and Barbara, dear fatherinlaw of Karen and Brian, a much loved grandad and great grandad, loved brother of Pauline and dear brotherinlaw of Cath. Requiem Mass at St.

Peacefully at the Marie Curie Hospice surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday 29th March 2011, aged 84 years, Peter, beloved husband of Anna, dearly loved dad of Jacqueline and Deborah, fatherinlaw of Jeff and Bryan and proud grandpa of Natalie and Dominic, also brother of Peggy. DOUGLAS (Heaton). In hospital on March 29th, aged 81 years, Ronnie (former employee of 45 years at C.A. Parsons Foundry Division), dearly beloved and devoted husband of Rose (nee Pullar), much loved brother of Lily and a dear uncle of all the family, also a very special friend of Jean. Family and friends please meet at the West Road Crematorium for service on Thursday 7th April at 12.30pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers if desired will be collected at the crematorium for the Alzheimers Society (Newcastle Branch). I hold him close within my heart and there he shall remain.

DOUGLAS (Heaton). On March 29th. In loving memory of Ronnie, beloved brother of Lily and the late George, Jean, Jim, Joe, John, Molly, Pat and Ralph and a dearly loved brotherinlaw and loved uncle of all nieces and nephews in the Douglas family. He was a wonderful man who will be sadly missed.

Suddenly in Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday 30th March, aged 86 years, after a short illness, beloved wife of the late Frank, loving mother of Joyce, Deborah, Frank and the late Doreen, motherinlaw of Tom and Geoff, doting grandma to all grandchildren and great grandchildren, loving sister to George and the late Betty, sisterinlaw to Mary. Service will be held at St. Andrew's Church, Leam Lane on Thursday 7th April at 10.30am, followed by interment at Heworth Cemetery at 11.00am. Will be truly missed and in our hearts you will forever stay. Floral tributes may be sent to St. Andrew's Church or donations to Cancer Research.
