DICKENSON (Durham). Peacefully at home on April 21st, aged 58 years, John, beloved husband of Nikki, a devoted father of Mark, Gemma and Stephen. Will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends.

Please meet for Requiem Mass at St. Godric's R.C.

Church, Durham on Monday 27th April at 2.00pm, prior to interment at Bowes Cemetery. By request family flowers only, donations in lieu can be directed via C.A.F.O.D.

PARKIN (France). Late of Saltwell D.I.Y. Bill, died April 16th, beloved brother of Val, Anne and the late Ken. Will be loved forever..

SALKELD (Gosforth). Peacefully on 22nd April 2009, in his 90th year, Dr. David Victor Salkeld, adored husband for over 62 years of Marion, wonderful dad to Lindsey, Alison and Judith, a much loved grandfather and great grandfather. Funeral Service at Trinity Church, Gosforth on Thursday 30th April at 11.00am, followed by private cremation. There will be a retiring collection for the Stroke Association and Cancer Research.

STEWART (Haltwhistle). Late of Shank Foot. Peacefully in hospital on 20th April, aged 74 years, Anne, beloved wife of the late Ellwood, much loved mother of Anthony, Brenda, Fiona, John, Ian and Dawn, dearly loved grandma to Stephanie, Nicola, Gary and Rachel and a good friend to John.

Service in Haltwhistle Methodist Church on Tuesday 28th April at 2.00pm, followed by cremation at the Carlisle Crematorium at 3.20pm.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Air Ambulance via the collection plate or Cumberland Building Society, Main Street, Haltwhistle. Friends please meet at the church..

STRAKER ( High Hauxley). in hospital, on Monday 20th April 2009, aged 77 years, Gerry, dear husband of Pat, loving father of David, Donald and Richard and father - in - law of Jeff, Andrea and Lynn. Gerry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Family and friends please meet for service at Hauxley Chapel, Low Hauxley on Wednesday 29th April at 1.00pm, followed by cremation at Cowpen Crematorium at 2.00pm. Family flowers only by request, in lieu to Hauxley Chapel.
