QI WROTE to you recently about the moss on my Astroturf. Thank you for your advice, which has been followed, and everything now seems to be much better.

What I did forget to ask was, W how do I deal with the moss that's growing around the base of my miniature roses? Awaiting your help - once again!

P M Sherris AHI there, that's great to hear the Astroturf is improving.

With roses, I would just gently remove the moss from the base by hand. It is growing there because it's damp, so if there is anyway you could improve air circulation at the base of your plant, this would help.

It might involve removing surrounding plants that cast shade or a little bit of rose pruning. You might not like the look of it but it isn't doing any harm.
