TORRANCE, Calif., Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Drug Detection Systems

Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: DGDT) (DDSI) of Torrance announced the appointment of JEDMED Instrument Co. of St. Louis, as the exclusive distributor for its OculoKinetics medical product line.
JEDMED is a well-established medical product distribution company with more than 15 years experience in marketing to ear, nose and throat, as well as ophthalmological medical specialists. With 16 direct-sale territory managers in the United States and numerous foreign dealers and agents, JEDMED is an ideal partner to exploit the worldwide market for OculoKinetics' medical products.
"We are excited that JEDMED, with its fine reputation for sales and service, will distribute our House Infrared/Video ENG System," said Ronald A. Waldorf, chairman of DDSI/Oculokinetics, "This will ensure that our products have the best opportunity of being accepted by the medical community. We are also honored that the world- renowned House Ear Institute and Clinic of Los Angeles has given OculoKinetics the permission to use the 'House' name on this advanced medical product."
Charlie Anderson, IR/Video Product Manager for JEDMED, has been manufacturing conventional ENG equipment for 20 years. Anderson said, "The House IR/Video System is the most significant improvement in ENG products since the technique was first developed. It will become a new standard for ENG testing of patients and a valuable tool for eye movement and pupil measurements by ophthalmologists."
The House IR/Video System was enthusiastically received at the American Academy of Otolaryngology in Washington last month. JEDMED will exhibit the product at the American Academy of Ophthalmology in Dallas, in early November.
