Valere Power has introduced the Integrated Power System, an expandable DC power distribution system that can cut power-related costs for remote broadband and wireless telecommunications equipment locations. It is said to reduce energy, cooling, management and maintenance expenses resulting in a cost saving of up to $4,000 for an average location. It converts AC power into either 24V DC or 48V DC at up to 600A and manages power distribution to telecommunications equipment and battery-based backup systems. Prices start at $3,500.
