DAVID H.M. MATHESON IS ELECTED A SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF THE BOSTON CONSULTING GROUP

 BOSTON, Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The Boston Consulting Group, Inc., today announced that David H.M. Matheson has been elected a senior vice president. Matheson is head of BCG's worldwide health care practice and is based in the firm's Boston office.
 Matheson has extensive experience in consulting with health care providers, suppliers to the industry, pharmaceutical companies and insurers. He is currently involved in work in every major sector of the health care industry. Recent assignments led by Matheson have included spearheading the redesign of all or major parts of health care delivery systems. He has also worked with pharmaceutical and diagnostic clients on fundamental strategy and the cultural changes required to compete in global health care markets.
 Matheson joined The Boston Consulting Group in 1980 and was elected a vice president in 1986. He holds an M.A. with first-class honors in logic and metaphysics from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, an M.B.A. with distinction from Harvard Business School, and a J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School.
