 DAVID ARMON NAMED PR NEWSWIRE MIDWESTERN REGIONAL SALES MANAGER
 CLEVELAND, April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- PR NEWSWIRE has appointed David Armon to the newly created position of Midwestern Regional Sales Manager, Ian Capps, president of PRN, announced today.
 Armon, a veteran print and broadcast journalist with broad-based public relations experience, joined PRN as Cleveland Bureau Manager in 1989. In his new role, Armon will supervise PRN sales activities in the Cleveland, Cincinnati, Detroit and Minneapolis markets. He also will oversee sales development in the Western New York state region.

 Armon served as bureau chief of United Press International's Syracuse and Rochester offices from 1983-88. As an account executive at Rumrill-Hoyt, a leading Rochester, N.Y., public relations agency, he worked on DuPont and several other major accounts. He holds a journalism degree from Utica College of Syracuse University.
