DATAKEY, INC. DELIVERS ONE-MILLIONTH KEY FOR SECURE TELEPHONES

 MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 19 ~PRNewswire~ -- Datakey, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: DKEY) announced today that it has shipped its one millionth KSD-64A Key Storage Device in support of the U.S. Government's Secure Telephone Program (STU-III). The Burnsville, Minn., manufacturer of portable memory devices has been a supplier for this program since its inception in 1986 and recently received a fifth government contract for the keys, which are used in secure phones supplied by AT&T, GE and Motorola. The Datakey devices support various authentication and encryption functions that help to protect the privacy of classified conversations conducted via these phones.
