LOS ANGELES-Tabletop manufacturer Dansk is bringing its fashion-forward kitchenware collection, previously sold exclusively in its wholesale stores, to the retail market.

The line will be unveiled at the Gourmet Products Show here this week.

The strategy is to offer a source of differentiation for gourmet specialty retailers with a one-stop-shopping approach, playing up the company's design heritage.

The collection includes nonstick champagne-colored cookware with teakwood handles and anodized aluminum pieces in its Master series line of stainless-steel cookware.

The collection extends to cutlery with two patterns featuring archive designs. Other items include wooden trivets and measuring cups and spoons.

"We're here to support the Dansk brand and the Dansk lifestyle," said Jeanne Allen, vice president of merchandising and product development.

Dansk is a division of Lenox Inc.
