DAN FAUCI PROMOTED TO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, COMEDY DEVELOPMENT, PARAMOUNT NETWORK TELEVISION

HOLLYWOOD, July 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Dan Fauci has been named senior vice president, comedy development, for the Network Television Division of the Paramount Television Group, it was announced today by Garry Hart, president of the Division.

Fauci, who is promoted from vice president, comedy development, will continue to oversee the development of all comedy series for the Division, which recently landed three series -- "The Pursuit of Happiness" and "The Home Court" for NBC and "Almost Perfect" for CBS -- on the 1995/96 Fall schedule. In making the announcement, Hart commented, "Dan's creative instincts combined with his vast experience in producing quality programs has proved invaluable to our Division."

Fauci joined the Network Television Division in 1991 as vice president, development, and has been involved with the development of such series as "Frasier," "Sister, Sister," "Platypus Man," "Pig Sty" and "Bob."

Previously, he served as president of Dan Fauci Productions and he also co-founded Jabberwocky Productions with actor/producer Ted Danson. He executive produced the acclaimed NBC telefilm "When the Bough Breaks" and the NBC comedy series "Down Home," starring Judith Ivey. He also wrote and produced the NBC telefilm "Follow Your Heart." Prior to producing, Fauci established the prestigious Actors Institute, which is based in New York and London.
