DAISY.. IT'S NEW THE OF DARLING DOWNTON.

THIS beauty will be going all pout to set tongues wagging in Downton Abbey.

Actress Daisy Lewis is being brought in to heal the broken heart of widower Tom Branson in the new autumn series on ITV.

And those sultry looks seem bound to remind him of his wife Lady Sybil who died in childbirth in the last series.

Daisy, 35, who has appeared in Doctor Who, will play the live-in governess for Tom's daughter.

She soon falls for the handsome Irishman, played by Allen Leech.

A source said: "Her romance with Tom will be one of the main storylines of the series."

Daisy is not the only new cast member.

Oscar-nominated actor Paul Giamatti joins Downton as the playboy brother of Lady Cora and opera singer Dame Kiri Te Kanawa will play a house guest.
