And then Blanche said of alcoholic Peter Barlow: "He changes his mind more often than I change my drawers."

Which makes you wonder just how infrequently she wears clean ones.

Elsewhere Maria has turned Miss Marple after Tony admitted to hiding Jed Stone's body in a knicker basket.

And the Plat ts and Windasses continued to air their dirty laundry in public. Scriptwriters have become so obsessed with co medy, they've forgotten the drama.
