D.N. Rose. former president and CEO of Questar Gas Co., Salt Lake City, and the 2001 chairman of the American Gas Association, was recently recognized for his significant contributions to the natural gas industry through receipt of AGA's Distinguished Service Award, the association's highest honor.

D.N. Rose. former president and CEO of Questar Gas Co., Salt Lake City, and the 2001 chairman of the American Gas Association, was recently recognized for his significant contributions to the natural gas industry through receipt of AGA's Distinguished Service Award, the association's highest honor. The award, presented during the association's executive conference, is given to an individual who has made an outstanding and significant contribution to the industry.

The award was presented by Kevin Burke, a member of the AGA Distinguished Service Award Committee and president and COO of Consolidated Edison Company of New York.

A proponent of marketing and communications, Rose chairmed AGA's Industry Communications Committee from 1992-94 and constantly encouraged utility executives to promote the economic, environmental and national security benefits of increased natural gas use.
