Cytec Engineered Materials and the Lockheed Martin. (Joint Ventures).

Cytec Engineered Materials and the Lockheed Martin-led F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) team have signed a multiyear agreement for the exclusive supply of advanced composite materials. Under terms of this partnership, Cytec will provide the entire JSF team--which includes Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and BAE Systems, plus their contractors--with a variety of epoxy and bismaleimide prepreg product forms; and will develop new products for the program's engineering manufacturing development (EMD) and production phases. Prepreg materials will be manufactured at Cytec's Greenville, Tex., and Anaheim, Calif., plants; to support the material requirements of the European-based JSF partners, Cytec is qualifying its Wrexham, Wales, U.K., manufacturing facility.
