This volume contains papers from the International Conference on Cyberworlds (CW 2005: Singapore) and from two workshops on Language Understanding and Agents for Real World Interaction (LUAR 2005) and Web Computing in Cyberworlds (WCCW 2005). Three invited talks discuss cyberworld modeling (integrating cyberworlds, the real world and conceptual worlds), cybermedicine (what is possible and is it useful?), and mixing reality and human centered media. Contributed papers are arranged in sections on shared and collaborative cyberworlds, information security, data retrieval and mining, HCI and humanized interfaces, cyber-education, distributed cyberworlds, and cyber-business. The workshops heard papers on such topics as a statistical classification approach to question answering using web data, smile and laughter recognition, human walking motion synthesis, a web-oriented warfare command decision support system, approximate information retrieval for heterogeneity ontologies, and fuzzy co-clustering of web documents. Indexing is by author only.
