A new insurance product aimed at covering cyber bullying has been launched in South Africa.

The move comes as it is believed that South Africa has the highest prevalence of cyber bullying, according to a 2018 Ipsos Global Adviser study. The cover is being offered by 1st for Women, a women-centric insurer. It covers the financial as well as legal burden of cyber bullying.
