Cut down by monsters in a black Merc.
Byline: FROM MATTHEW DRAKE Chief Reporter & DAN WARBURTON in Paris
WITNESSES told last night how two ISIS gunmen brandishing M16 assault rifles pulled up in a black "Mercedes" and calmly slaughtered 20 customers at a Paris bistro before driving away.
Mahoud Admo looked on in horror from his window in a hostel opposite as one of the killers climbed out of the car outside La Belle Equipe and sprayed diners sat outside with bullets.
He said "The gunman showed no emotion at all. He had the machine gun on his hip and kept reloading magazines and firing.
"I could see his face as he not wearing a mask. People outside tried to run into the bar but he shot them down in the doorway. Then people inside came to see what was happening and he sprayed bullets into them. There were streams of blood everywhere and broken glass."
MUSCULAR Mr Admo said both attackers were dressed in black and the driver was standing with a foot in the door, his machine gun resting on the roof.
"He was acting as lookout," he said.
"I was trying to film it but he saw the light on my mobile. I had to duck as he fired at my hotel. He shot up at the windows in the street.
"He was white and clean shaven. The other shooter was about 35 and very muscular. The whole thing lasted about six minutes then they drove off in the direction of the Bataclan Theatre. There were about 20 bodies lying outside the bar. It was sickening."
Fatiha Toun, 25, was leaving a nearby hotel when the attack happened. She said: "I heard a woman screaming and the rattle of gunfire.
"I could see flames from the shooter's weapon. There were bodies on the pavement. One woman's leg was stripped to the bone by bullets."
Another woman said her friend died at the bar. "I spoke to her hours before. She was happy. Then I got a text from my friend. It said, 'Veronique is dead'," she said.
