Cushman Realty expands National Accounts Group.

As part of its ongoing expansion in New York, Cushman Realty Corporation's National Accounts Group has relocated to the 31st floor of Park Avenue Plaza at 55 East 52nd Street in Manhattan.

The announcement was made by Brian J. Dugan, the Cushman Realty vice president and executive managing director who heads the New York office.

"The move is part of our ongoing efforts to better serve corporate clients in this region," said Dugan, who added that the division is continuing an aggressive search for brokers, consultants and research analysts to round out the New York staff. "We expect to have approximately a dozen staff members in our new offices by year-end."

The National Accounts Group serves the national facility requirements of corporate, professional, industrial and high-tech companies, and works with clients in the formulation, execution and implementation of real estate strategies. It divides its transactions equally among national, Manhattan and New York Metropolitan-area assignments.

Modeled after the company's headquarter operation in Los Angeles, the New York division will maintain a high ratio of analysts and researchers to support every broker. This multidisciplined team approach will enable the New York office to handle the entire array of real estate operations for its clients, including strategic facility planning, portfolio review, municipal incentives structuring, market research, financial analysis, space planning, lease documentation and building systems, and design evaluation.

Cushman Realty has offices in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Houston and Denver. Last year, it formed Koll/Cushman Realty Mexico, a joint-venture partnership in Mexico City with Koll International that will provide full brokerage and real estate advisory services.

The company has attained international prominence as a result of its work for a prestigious client roster that includes AT&T, Nestle USA, EBASCO Services, Colgate-Palmolive, Bausch & Lomb, Atlantic Richfield, Merrill Lynch, Ernst & Young, Peat Markwick, Main & Co, Citicorp, IBM, Baker & McKenzie, BP Exploration, Taco Bell, Trans America, Burlington Northern Inc. and many others.
