Curtis to head Arkansas Manufacturing Solutions.

Arkansas Manufacturing Solutions has a new director.

Daniel Curtis has been named vice president/industry of the Arkansas Science & Technology Authority and in that position becomes director of AMS, which is an ASTA program that assists the state's manufacturers in improving quality and performance.

Curtis has spent more than 20 years leading organizations toward fundamental change in culture and business direction.

He most recently served as president and chief operating officer of Litmus LLC, a technology development company. His prior work was with George Fischer Sloane Inc.

Curtis has served as chairman of the Industrial Advisory Council for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock's College of Engineering & Information Technology.
