Cup of cheer at coffee shop chain; In association with Rensburg Sheppards.

INDEPENDENT coffee shop chain Beoffee is bringing its special blend to Birkenhead after it confirmed it will be opening a new store in the town next month.

Beoffee is investing pounds 120,000 as it expands outside its Cheshire base.

It has taken 3,500 sq ft in the Pyramid and Grange shopping centre, which attracts 300,000 people a week.

Beoffee is run by directors Jan Bonello and Jennifer Lawrence, who have more than 25 years' experience in the catering and retail trade between them.

And despite being a new company - its first store opened in Widnes last November before the duo took the Beoffee brand to Warrington - it has ambitious plans.

Ms Lawrence said: "Although the economic climate is quite gloomy, we are in a robust position and we are very confident that Birkenhead will be a great place for our third Beoffee store.

"In tough economic times, people are seeking out great, friendly service and value for money and our focus on that means we are able to press ahead with our growth strategy."
