Cruise West To South Pacific.

Cruise West's new flagship, the 114-passenger Spirit of Oceanus, will sail four different South Pacific itineraries (for a total of 11 departures in the inaugural season), beginning November 10 in Papeete, Tahiti, and ending March 11, 2002, in Cairns, Australia. All of the new cruises depart from Tahiti or Fiji.

Roundtrip voyages from Papeete, Tahiti, explore French Polynesia's Society Islands and Cook Islands; one-way cruises between Tahiti and Fiji visit Tonga and the Cook Islands. And at the end of the South Pacific season, a one-way cruise sails from Fiji to Cairns via Vanuatu (New Hebrides), New Caledonia, and Australia's Great Barrier Reef.
