Crown launches seated end tins in Europe.
Crown's unique and distinctive technology for the seated end tin was designed in house, with custom tooling and machines developed for the manufacturing process. Seated end means the tin's bottom curl is inverted so that when the packaging is placed on a flat surface, the curl is hidden from view. Crown's own solution provides a stronger and more robust tin with pure lines. In many cases, consumers choose to reuse the package, meaning that key brand messaging continues to be conveyed long after the initial product has been used up. Crown's seated end technology can initially be applied to tins of 100 x 100mm format with a variety of heights according to the customer's needs. Crown Speciality Packaging Europe will be launching additional sizes and shapes in the near future. Crown's expert in-house design team can support customers in developing packaging designs with the ideal finish and highest quality printing and colour control to highlight brand messaging and further enhance the product's impact on the store shelf.
"Crown has developed this innovative new seated end technology in Europe to offer brand owners a greater choice of distinctive and novel metal packaging formats, helping them differentiate their products at the key point of sale and express their brand's identity." said Veronique Curtilla, European Marketing Manager, Crown Speciality Packaging Europe.
