Crossland selects Carlton to auction Queens co-ops.

Elevm Development Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of CrossLand Federal Savings Bank, FSB, has appointed Carlton Property Auctions exclusive leasing agent for the marketing and auction of the vacant and occupied units at Hampton Court at Forest Park, in Kew Gardens, Queens.

Hampton Court consists of 315 apartments, evenly distributed between four buildings. Its elegant, pre-War (1937), English Baronial architecture features sturdy construction and typically spacious apartments. The building contains striking marble lobbies, a 24-hour concierge with video security.

Elevm selected Carlton Property Auctions to conduct both the tenant reoffer and marketing/auction programs. Carlton, which is based in Great Neck, specialized in the sale of cooperatives in this market.

Suggested opening bids, are just $5,000 for an occupied residence, $29,000 for a vacant one-bedroom, and $39,000 for a vacant two-bedroom. Previous asking prices for vacant one-and two-bedroom units routinely exceeded $150,000.

The auction will be held on Sunday, Nov. 22, 1992, at 1:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza (104-04 Ditmars Blvd., at LaGuardia Airport). Cheek-in begins at noon. The Auction Hotline is (718)849-2000.
