 (behentrimonium methosulfate (and)
 quaterniem-33 (and) cetyl alcohol)

Phase B
Deionized water 40.00
Glycerin 8.00
Propylene glycol 6.00

PROCEDURE:
Combine ingredients of phase A and phase B
separately and heat each to 95[degrees]C. Slowly add
phase B to phase A with rapid mixing. Product
will become opaque at 80-85[degrees]C and then clear
when it cools to 65[degrees]C. On further hazy, but clears
again as room temperature is reached.

PROPERTIES:
pH: 5.6 0.50
Set point: 50-55[degrees]C

PROCEDURE:
Combine phase A ingredients; heat to 85[degrees]C. Mix
well, until all waxes disperse uniformly or are
completely dissolved. Add phase B ingredients
in sequence to phase A at constant agitation.
Mix well. Pour at 80[degrees]C in appropriate molder.

PROCEDURE:
Dissolve disodium EDTA in warm water
(~50[degrees]C). Add Carbopol Ultrez 10 polymer and
allow to wet out for approximately five minutes.
Disperse Pemulen Polymeric emulsifier and
allow to mix in for about 15 minutes. Add
propylene glycol. Bring phase A to ~70[degrees]C. Add
approxiamately 15% of the total neutralizing
agent necessary to phase A. Blend phase B
ingredients and bring to -80[degrees]C, making sure
solid ingredients are dissolved. Add phase B to
phase A with vigorous agitation. Add PEG-60
almond glycerides. Add dimethiconol and
cyclomethicone. Add Ultrasil Copolyol-1 sislicone.
Ass Phenonip after the emulsion cools to
<60[degrees]C. Add tapioca starch. Add the remainder
of the neutralizing agent. Add Avalure UR 450
polymer.

PROPERTIES:
Appearance: white, creamy emulsion
pH: 7.0-7.5
Viscosity (mPa*s) **: 15,000-21,000
SPF (waterproof) ***: 21 (in-vitro method, 80
 min. immersion)
Stability: passed 45[degrees]C, accelerated--
 six weeks; passed freeze/thaw 5 cycles

** Brookfield RV spindle #6 @ 25[degrees]C, 20 rpm
*** This formulation has been SPF tested by
Innovative Measurement Solutions Inc., invitro
waterproof test: 80 minute immersion.
