Stokesley Cricket Club host two Lady Dorman Cup quarter-finals next week. Stokesley play Spouthe House on Tuesday, July 4, with Stafford Place facing East Harlsey on Friday, July 7.

Moorsholm and Maltby are already through to the semi-finals.

Moorsholm scored 135-3 to beat Crathorne 134-5 (D Samamazar 46) by seven wickets, while Maltby saw off Skelton Castle.

Kickboxing

TEESSIDE'S award-winning Scorpio Kickboxing stable picked up nine medals on their recent travels.

Former world champion Leif Taggart won traditional forms and advanced light continuous golds, plus creative forms and advanced semi contact silvers at the UFBDA Lincoln Open.

The 15-year-old added two more golds (advanced light continuous/semi-contact) and a traditional forms silver and creative forms bronze at the WUMA Champion of Champions event.

Senior heavyweight team-mate Chris Kent also hit form at the same Gloucester tournament, claiming advanced semi-contact silver and light continuous bronze.

Tennis

TENNIS World of Marton are holding a free play tennis event this Sunday for players of all abilities and ages.

It takes place from midday to 3pm and attractions include free coaching, plus competitions, a barbecue and speed of serve cage.

The annual event runs in conjunction with the LTA's Play Tennis Campaign. It has been organised by Pippa Borwell, sister of Middlesbrough's top tennis star Sarah Borwell.

THE semi-finals of the Macmillan Cup, sponsored by Tall Trees Hotel, take place tonight when Guisborough tackle Redcar and Marton face NYSD League leaders Bishop Auckland. Other games:

NYSD Reserve League: Seaton Carew v Normanby Hall. JUNIOR Lg North: Darlington v Norton.

Archery

NEWLY-formed Ramshead Field Archery Club are looking for new members. The Commondale-based club has enough land for around 30 to 40 targets. All disciplines are catered for - all that is needed is a pounds 10 membership of the National Field Archery Society and a club joining fee of pounds 15. Junior Football

CARGO Fleet Juniors are looking for players for their U-13, U-12, U-10 and U-9 sides. Training takes place at the Corpus Christi Primary School on Cargo Fleet Lane, Middlesbrough, from 6pm on Wednesdays for the U-12s and U-13s and on Sundays from 10am for the U-10s and U-9s.
