Cricket: Sutton in treble bid.

SUTTON face a busy three days which could make or break their season.

The Bromborough Paints Merseyside and Southport Alliance outfit entertain Rainhill tonight in the Lever Cup semi-finals.

They turn their attentions to Division Two of the Alliance tomorrow looking to boost their promotion bid away to leaders Skelmersdale. And Sutton turn out again on Sunday in the semi-finals of the Trophy against Merseyside Commonwealth, who have already knocked out Prescot & Odyssey and Parkfield Liscard.

Sutton expect to have all-rounder Tony Filson, back in action after a shoulder problem.

In the second semifinal Old Xaverians will have home advantage against Prestatyn
