Creepy, kooky and bookies!

They're creepy and they're kooky, mysterious and spooky, they're all together ooky, The Addams Family. Staff at the new William Hill betting shop on Albany Road, Cardiff, dressed as the Addams Family to raise money for the George Thomas Hospice in Whitchurch, Cardiff.

'The day was really good,' said Jim Phillips, manager of the shop. 'Some customers thought we were gangsters but most of them realised who we were.

'We're a new shop and we wanted to do something for the community. We're hoping to raise between pounds 200 and pounds 300 for the George Thomas Hospice.

'Deputy manager Jimmy Whitelock looks a bit like Uncle Fester so we thought if I grew a moustache I could be Gomez and Emma Johanson dressed as Morticia. Our raffle will be open until Saturday, April 28, when we'll draw it in the shop. The top prize is a digital camera and then a DVD player and hopefully if we can get them there will be some smaller prizes.'
