Swiss banking group Credit Suisse (NYSE: CS) (SWX: CSGN) (ZHR: CSGN) has launched its new range of investment products, based on the CS Global Risk Appetite Index, which offers investors exposure to European equities and government bonds.

The allocation model of the Risk Appetite Investable Index (RAII), which combines contrarian risk appetite signals with trend following and valuation metrics based on 25 years of historical data, uses tracker portfolios to gain exposure to the equity and bond markets.

'By combining the expertise of our strategy and fund-linked products teams, Credit Suisse has created an index with strong historical performance, which provides a solid base for a range of structured products,' said Walter Rotondo, managing director and head of the fund-linked products group at Credit Suisse.
