Switzerland-based Credit Suisse (NYSE: CS) has received a banking award in Singapore.

Credit Suisse's private banking business in Singapore has been recognized as 'Best Private Banking Services Overall' by Euromoney magazine. The award acknowledges the bank's private banking business leadership in Singapore and the success of its integrated banking franchise.

Euromoney Magazine said that the bank has been awarded for the excellent quality of its services to high and ultra net-worth individuals.

Marcel Kreis, head of private banking, Asia Pacific, said, 'We are honoured for being awarded the Euromoney accolade for 'Best Private Banking Services Overall' in Singapore. Here, Credit Suisse has its largest private banking centre outside of Switzerland and a major regional hub.
