Creating a song and dance.

SINGING banker Howard Brown has been creating a bit of a song and dance in Cardiff.

The bespectacled star of the Halifax and Bank of Scotland TV adverts dropped in at the company's card services office in Cardiff Bay on Tuesday to cut the ribbon at their new staff restaurant.

Howard - who started out as a customer service adviser at a Halifax branch in Birmingham before hitting the high notes - officially opened the cafe after an eight-month refurbishment.

More than 1,000 people work in the bank's two office sites in the Welsh capital and the renovation work was done to keep pace with expansion in the business.
