Crafty way to shop.

A SCHEME to ease the pressure of Christmas shopping on parents is being offered.

On Thursday, a Kids Craft workshop, for children seven years and over, is on offer from 5.30-7.30pm in Middlesbrough Town Hall Crypt.

Lisa Bean, from Middlesbrough Council's cultural services section, said: "This is a great opportunity for parents to enjoy some late night shopping knowing their children are in a fun, safe place.

Children will be able to make their own reindeer head-dress which they can wear for the annual town centre Reindeer Parade on Sunday November 16. The workshops cost pounds 3 per session. Places are limited and must be booked by ringing Lisa Bean on 01642 729288.
