"Laisseez les bon temps roulez!" (Let the good times roll!), as they say in New Orleans. Approximately 1,500 representatives from breweries across America are expected to converge in New Orleans at the Radisson Hotel May 7-10, 2003 for the 20th Annual Institute for Brewing Studies Craft Brewers Conference and BrewExpo America. The featured keynote speaker will be Kim Jordan, CEO and President of New Belgium Brewing Company.

The program will include more than 30 educational talks running alongside one of the U.S. brewing industry's largest trade shows.

"The Craft Brewers Conference is an invaluable forum to meet my fellow brewers and talk about issues that are facing all of us--topics ranging from malt quality to what new beers are available in different parts of the country. It is a place for me to share ideas and become inspired. Every spring, I leave the conference eager to get back to my brewery to try something out that I have just learned. I have attended the last five and I now I look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones," said Tom Nickel, Oggi's Pizza and Brewing Company.

The Craft Brewers Conference is widely known for its consistent offering of expert speakers and superior educational experiences. This year's conference lecture tracks will also have a new marketing focus with six marketing sessions. Marketing lecture topics include Inexpensive Brewpub Marketing, Getting in the Mind of the Consumer, and The Changing Perceptions of American Craft Beer.

"I think our 2003 conference will be a real winner," comments Cindy Jones, Sales and Marketing Director for the Association of Brewers. "We're responding to our membership and providing the marketing talks they requested. We're here to help them sell more beer through education and now gathering them together to talk about marketing issues. It's really a complete package."
