Cowboy night.

Cowboys and girls will be drawing their pistols for money at a country and western charity night.

The fast draw competition is just one of the events taking place in aid of the British Heart Foundation and Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Three North East country and western bands, Colt 45, The Regulators and The Swill Billies, will also be playing for free to help the charity event.

The event will take place on Monday, April 26, from 7pm to midnight, at the Lancastrian Suite, Federation Breweries, Gateshead.
