Cov football team gets eco-kit boost.

AN Under-13s football team will be turning out in a new kit for their cup final appearance next month thanks to the backing of Rugbybased ProEnviro. Coventry Copsewood FC will be playing in the Bedworth Nursing Cup Final on Sunday, April 15 and believe they have the eco-friendly energy boost to help them to lift the trophy.

The young footballers are aged between 12 and 13 and most have played together since they were six-year-olds.

Manager Aidy Connolly said: "They are a great team and good friends. Getting the backing of ProEnviro is fantastic and we are all very grateful."

Richard Whitaker, from ProEnviro, said: "It's good to support a young team. It's future generations who will benefit from the ongoing development of environmental technologies and we all have to do it by working together."

Pro Enviro provide a range of support to businesses to help apply low carbon technologies in the workplace.
