Counting and distributing displaced people in Amran discussed.

Undersecretary of Amran province and Head of the Relief Committee Abdullah Abu Auja discussed here on Monday with teams of Red Crescent and Red Cross Societies mechanism of counting and distributing the displaced people in various areas of the province.<p>In the meeting, the teams briefed Abu Auja on the displaced cases counted by the two societies, which amounted to 28,000 cases.

Abu Auga affirmed the need to provide the services for the displaced with a simple mechanism according to the official records of each displaced case as well as examining the counting process to ensure the information in order to deal with the counting sheets with transparency.

He pointed out the necessity of cooperation with the international organization and civil society to succeed the relief missions taking in consideration the humanitarian situations of the displaced people due to the insurgence war ignited by al-Houthi rebels in northern province of Saada.

Meanwhile, Abu Auja noted the role of the international organizations working in field of relief for the displaced, affirming that the local authority is about to start establishing a new camp for the displaced families in cooperation with the organizations in Amran province. 1999 - 2009
