CHARLIE BREED: Crossbreed DOG Age: Five months About Charlie: Charlie is a lively young pup who is looking for an active family home. He adores being the centre of attention and especially loves spending one-on-one time with his carers. Charlie enjoys meeting other dogs and is gradually building up confidence around his new furry friends.

Like all puppies, Charlie will need to be house trained and as he isn't used to being walked, he will need plenty of on-lead training. This leggy lad is best suited to an active home with devoted owners who are willing to continue his training. He can live with children over the age of five.

BOBBY BREED: Harrier AGE: 18 months old About Bobby: Bobby is a lovely chap, very friendly and outgoing. He is extremely intelligent and is going to need a lot of stimulation and exercise to keep him entertained. Bobby doesn't have many manners at the moment, so will need owners who are willing to continue the training he is doing at the centre to learn his basic commands.

He will require a few good walks a day as he loves being active. He gets along very well with other dogs, and can live with children aged seven and above.

JIMMY BREED: Crossbreed AGE: Six months About Jimmy: Jimmy is a cheeky chappy who loves to be centre of attention! He adores playing with other dogs, and spends his life out in the fields with his canine pals.

As he's still a puppy, Jimmy needs all of his basic training and is looking for an owner who is willing to continue this. He will also need an owner who is around for most of the day to help him settle in. He's a sweet-natured boy and can live with children aged 12 and over.

BUSTER BREED: Crossbreed AGE: Five About Buster: Buster is a very sweet boy, who is looking for kind and patient owners. Buster can be a bit shy, so is looking for a new family who will give him the time he needs to settle in. He is incredibly affectionate, and all his canine carers have fallen in love with him.

Buster will need to be the only dog in the home, and he can live with children over the age of 12. He loves people so much, he doesn't like to be apart from them, so will need an owner who is around most of the day to help him settle in.

BUZZ BREED: Patterdale DOG Age: Two About Buzz: Buzz by name, Buzz by nature - he is always on the go! He loves to get out and about on his walks, and can get very over-excited by everything. He will need lots of mental stimulation as well as plenty of exercise. Buzz would prefer to be the only dog in the home, but with regular socialisation with his canine pals.

Buzz can live with children over the age of 10.

BARNEY BREED: Crossbreed AGE: 14 About Barney: Barney is a very easy going friendly pooch who has been in a home for the last 14 years and is at Dogs Trust Merseyside through no fault of his own. He is looking for a retirement home to see out his twilight years.

Barney is house trained and does get along with quieter dogs, but as he is an older gentlemen would prefer to be the only dog in the house. He can live with children aged five and above.

JACK BREED: Crossbreed AGE: Five About Jack: Jack hasn't had the best start in life, having spent the past four years living indoors. He is now starting to adjust to a normal life but can still find new situations overwhelming so he will need plenty of fuss and cuddles to make him feel at home.

THIS sociable boy loves making new doggy friends and adores spending time sniffing and exploring in the great outdoors. He is best suited to a home with older children and would like his new owner to be around for much of the day to keep him company. He gets on well with dogs of all shapes and sizes and could possibly live with another, quiet dog.

HOOCH BREED: Crossbreed AGE: Four About Hooch: Hooch is a very handsome chap who loves to be outside. He is very active, and would love an owner who will take him on long walks in the countryside. He can be a little obsessed with his toys, however he will swap them for a treat in the end! He also adores swimming, and will make a beeline for any body of water he can find.

Hooch is a big lad so will need an owner who is prepared for this and give him the attention he needs. He is house trained and would prefer to live in an adult-only home.

LUCY BREED: Crossbreed AGE: Five About Lucy: Lucy is a very clever lady who is looking for a loving family to call her own. She is a cheeky girl who can open doors and will happily take a peek inside the fridge whenever she has the chance!

Lucy would like to be the only pet in the home so she can spend time getting to know her new family. New owners will need to be patient and willing to continue her training and help teach her some doggy manners. This lovely lady can live with children aged six and over.
