Cotton/abrasive tools for light mold cleaning.

Repair and maintenance of steel or aluminum molds or dies can be achieved with a new line of grinding tools used for light cleaning and finishing or minimal metal removal. Supplied by Rex-Cut Products Inc., Fall River, Mass., the tools consist of multiple layers of nonwoven cotton impregnated with abrasive grains of silicon carbide or aluminum oxide. The tools are pressed and bonded into a wide range of shapes and sizes including barrel, bullet, round, and custom shapes. The tools are mounted on a grinding spindle. As one layer is ground away, a new abrasive-impregnated layer is revealed. Users have a choice of grit sizes, Tel: (508) 678-1985 * PTDirect: 717AP
