Cote Dlvoire,United Arab Emirates : FOXTROT INTERNATIONAL commence generation from Second Platform Off-coast COTE D'IVOIRE.
The Oslo-listed oil and gas investment firm, RAK Petroleum, has declared the start of production by carrier Foxtrot International from a second platform on Block CI-27 offshore Cote d'Ivoire.
The Marlin-B1ST well, the first well in an initial 5 well drilling crusade to build 2 formerly discovered fields on the block, is presently holds an average of 1,100 bpd of 26 degree API oil by a 35/64 in-choke.
In April 2015, the new Marlin platform was deployed as scheduled part of a 4 year, $1-billion broadening program to bring the Marlin oil and gas field and the Manta gas field on production.
The platform will be twice Block CI-27's hydrocarbons curing limit and accelerate the provision and the reliability of gas supplies.
The Marlin-B1ST well faced 62 m of total pay in the Cenomanian interval; an 18.5-m division of this interval was oil bearing, of which a 6.4-m section has been perforated. The well, drilled in 100 m of water, mounted an entire depth of 2,660 m.
Drilling of the top holes of the rest of the wells in this satge of the improvement program is continuing.
Through Mondoil Enterprises, LLC, RAK Petroleum has a 1/3rd of claim of Foxtrot International, that runs Block CI-27 with a 24% direct share. Different partners on the block are the state oil firm, PETROCI SA (40%), SECI SA (24%) and ENERCI SA (12%). Foxtrot International also has a 27.27% interest in ENERCI, bringing Mondoil Enterprises' entire share in Block CI-27 to 9.1%.
