Correctness has gone mad.
ONE of the worst imports ever from the US must surely be "Political Correctness", a plague that has been a curse since its introduction. It is the sworn enemy of honesty, truth, integrity, justice, fairness, common sense and free speech. This dangerous ideology played a substantial role in the current abhorrent child sexual assault situation in Rotherham where apparently the council, social services and police declined to intervene or to pay attention to the fears and experiences of the victims, and indeed sometimes blamed them for what was happening, fearful of the accusation of "racism", far more important apparently, than the wellbeing and futures of the unfortunate children involved, and their families. Courage is required to denounce political correctness for the catastrophe that it is, so entrenched has it become amongst the Great and the Good, who have managed successfully to impose it on society in general, Time to reject it, and deposit it in the cesspit of history.
