Holy Land Foundation (NPT, 1/02), included comments that were posted on
Holy Land's Web site and attributed to the Community Foodbank of
New Jersey. According to the Community Foodbank of New Jersey, the
statement was not accurate. According to the food bank, correspondence
with Holy Land never contained the phrasing "problem and hysteria in this country against the Muslim community."
The article Church Donors Becoming More Self-Focused in the Feb. 1
issue of The NonProfit Times misstated the increase in benevolence giving as a percent of income from 1998 to 1999. The increase is 0.01
percent as published in The State of Church Giving through 1999.
