Corrections.

In the News in Brief section of the November 2004 edition, we began the first unit under the Vatican with "Canonizations." That should have read Beatifications. Beatification is one step away from canonization.

The statement made in 'Designer Babies and Cloning' (Nov. 2004, p.30), that in 2003 Canada's Human Reproduction Bill banned human cloning for any purpose is incorrect. In the Bill 'cloning,' narrowly defined as somatic ceil nuclear transfer, IS indeed banned. However, many other kinds of cloning are not prohibited.

We apologize for misspelling Dr. Patrick Coffey's name (Nov, Letters, p. 4).
