A story in the June 1 issue of The NonProfit Times incorrectly stated that Public Citizen received a letter requiring registration after it received three gifts over the Web from Pinellas County, Fla., residents. Pinellas County did send Public Citizen letters demanding it register, but those letters did not mention and had nothing to do with receipt of gifts from county residents via the Internet. The letters were sent before the county even adopted the Internet provision in the ordinance. The NPT regrets the error.
